Since I've been talking about my involvement in burlesque for the last year, it seemed more than expedient to show you some pictures of what I've been doing. Thus, photos of me in various states of undress from the last few Pasties and Paddles shows:











Our brand of burlesque is a mix of fetish, traditional, horror, performance art, live music and even improv - something I personally refer to as punk rock burlesque.

I just finished an article for a friend's up-and-coming zine about burlesque, the sex industry and how women who actively define themselves within those arenasvchallenge a patriarchal society that seeks to impose a false notion of femininity and female sexuality on women everywhere. I may post it here. In any case, I'd welcome your opinions on the topic. What's your stance on feminists in the sex industry?

After re-surfacing from an alcoholic week of ballistic proportions, I am preparing to join other sexy SGs at the Emerald City Comic Con. I am super excited to meet Dame Darcy and David Mack, among other talented illustrators...my palms are getting sweaty already.

And for you lovers of metal, I'm going to the Maryland Deathfest this year, along with Fatality, Granny and Meros1 ! I may need assistance in downing multiple drinks while watching some of my favorite grindcore bands, so you should most definitely make me aware if you are going to be present.
