Watching the show before the finale of American Horror Story.
I can't watch it before bed. I have nightmares. Also can't watch it while I eat dinner - in case something gross happens.

Does evil really exist? Is there true negative energy.

Sorry for the negative post.
Somehow it feels when I used to post daily, negative posts were more okay, but now that I post less it seems unfair.

I think it getting dark at 4:30pm is getting to me. There is a lot to be said for seasonal depression. When you go to work in the semi dark and go home in the dark it...

FEMA is actually my flood insurance holder. They are actually EVERYONE's flood insurance holder. No matter who writes the policy, they are just writing it for FEMA. I applied for FEMA aid and was denied. Twice. Partially because the adjusters took so long to get everything taken care of. One of the rejection letters actually told me I have no flood policy on file. I wish I was kidding.

They have offered voluntary buy outs in my area. They said it will probably take 3 years to get to me. Even then, it depends on how many claims have been filed. on my house.

The house I shared with my ex-wife went almost two years without foreclosure. She was supposed to pay the mortgage from the date the divorce was official, until it was sold or she refinanced it to get my name off, which she was given 90 days to refinance. The divorce was official July '08. She stopped paying the mortgage Dec. '08. We didn't sell the house until February this year. The bank stopped calling it delinquent once the short sale process started October last year. So, yeah. Two years and no foreclosure? That is over $40k in the bank for me. I'll put the house on the market, but it won't sell. Especially after knowing how hard Irene hit this area.
chef_jeff:
I was in a similar situation... I had a house in upper west Milford still sitting on the market to this day. The nj real-estate market is so f'd up the banks don't even know what to do. In addition to the areas that have been declared disaster areas. I had 2 short sales fall thru. Two deed in lieu make it 3/4 ofthe way thru the process before being denied. The hoops that they make u jump thru are insane especially only to denie or force u to fail. But we all still persist. Good thing it was only one of my properties. Otherwise I would have been screwed.

This may be a stupid question. So bear with me and feel free to tell me if it is.

So I understand they have the final shuttle launch scheduled, and I believe that is because they cut costs in the space programs.

So my question, in all honesty is...................does this mean kids can't grow up to be astronauts anymore?

I am beside myself.
I took my computer in to be fixed. Instead of going to Best Buy or Staples I tried to go local to support the community and small business.

I find a place near work I call, and I bring the computer. All goes well they fix it, the cost was double what I thought it was going to be (they never...

So.............no end of the world.

I am bummed.

I am intrigued to see what happens with Family Radio now.

So I guess have allergies.

You don't have to be that far away to be in a long distance relationship.
And it still sucks.

Maybe my prayers wil be answered soon.

So, is where you live your "home"?
I never thought of Westchester as my home, until I was asked to leave it and then I realized it was my home and I loved it.

Yes and no. If you'd asked me this time last year, I would have pulled up stumps, but I'm starting to see that all my friends are here and that's what counts. Then again, I get homesick for SF -- more friends live there ... maybe it's friend sick?
datsun:
Oddly, I live at my parents' house but found myself telling Bee "I wanna go home" when I felt yucky the other night, and I meant her house.

But truthfully, the area that feels most like "home" is one I've only worked in, not lived in. It's Wine Country, and wine is my industry. Plus, when I was out there, I loved the people and the communities. Every time I drive around up there, I get all teary and nostalgic and want to go look at homes for sale. We'll get there eventually. smile

Blah to that old blog. That guy is a dick. Period. Fuck him, fuck the management company.

That bed though.............holy shit.
I was late to work all week. It is literally that comfortable. I just keep pushing the snooze.

Life continues to be boring - but I like it that way. I had way too much drama early in the year.

I just continue to...

But as of late i come on SG, lurk and then go back to real life. Not sure if I have less to say, less to share, or just have gotten boring

I imagine this will only get worse as...

My boy and I are having the exact opposite problem. Both our roommates are moving out (his left today; mine leaves May 31), but I don't want to live with a partner until we get married. It's my one old-fashioned rule.

haha thanks...but theres still like 6 other people under consideration too frown

Life is stable yet no blogs.
I tell people I am boring, but I think I will just ride this boring bit out.
Take a little break.

Yet I still am currently having an anxiety attack - for no actual reason.
Why can't you ever talk your brain into being rational.
