When they tell me the dogs nose is made out of 1 million poppy seeds, or blue cornsilk has made the ocean waves.
Two years ago my mom went to Pasadena and was one of the volunteers who worked on the floats. For days she was one of the people who glued on those 1 million poppy seeds. She is pretty cool. Definitely my idol in the way that she never stops moving and is always trying something new.
She pulled out a letter I wrote to myself in 1988 (at age eleven) today. The predications I made were spot on. And it was funny to see that the crush I had at age eleven lasted until age 21 when he finally showed his true colors. Lordy!
