I wanted to share this because I thought it was just a really awesome moment. A woman called earlier and was trying to see why one of her meds werent filled and I told her it was too early per insurance she then realized that she did in fact still have that medication. she then said she wanted them to be filled automatically and a coworker of mine who wasnt very friendly told her that she had to come into the store physically to do that and she explained to my coworker that an illness she deals with makes it difficult for her to get around anywhere and the employee didnt seem to want to help. so I offered with her consent to sign her up for the auto refilling and even suggested a program to get all her meds filled at once and she loved that idea and once I explained the process she broke into tears and begin to say how grateful I was and how helpful I'd been and she'd been having a rough few days and nothing seemed to work out or go right for her and that I was just a lifesaver to her. It made me realize that you dont have to go over the top to change someones day or life. little things matter. today all I did was my job. nothing above or beyond what I'm asked to do on a daily basis at work and I changed this womans day. Be the small change that has big effects!
