haha! thank you for refering me to debrajean, but I thought it was you in the pic this whole time. The reason I was inquiring was because, as it turns out, you were the one I was looking for from before! It was the birds in the pic that made me inquire about it, not the person. You see, I had come across AnnaLee's page a while back, and she does some taxidermy stuff that I thought reminded me of some pics I had seen, but I couldn't remember who it was for the life of me. When I told her about it, she was very interested in knowing, and so I went searching around for where I had seen them. At last I have found them... right under my nose!! I'm such a dork

and coincidentally, there is another pic I found last night that reminds me of something you have in your folder as well...

Isn't it true that there's always a rivalry between north and south? North and South Korea, North and South Vietnam, Northern and Southern Ireland, Yankees and Rebels, uptown and downtown. Somebody please tell me why that is? Maybe southerners get too much sun, like Mr. sock over there, frying his threads, and northerners don't get enough (although I hardly think northern Israel a cool spot in the shade), but southern peoples - tropical and downtown types - always seem to lean toward decadence, whereas uptown, in the north, progress is favored. Decadence and progess obviously are at odds.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to saying hello and thanking you for adding me. I'm an unforgivable procrastinator and I have no excuses. Looking through your band list, I noticed Elysian Fields listed. Do you by any chance, know any of those guys personally? I'm not sure how well-known they are, so I thought it might be a possibility. IF so, Oren is a friend of mine-- He was just out here during January for the Sundance Film Festival.

Now that I'm recollecting, I think we watched a performance by Saddam Hussein's piano player. He was HORRIBLE.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello.

You know what? It's snowing right now as I'm typing this, and it's the first time it happens in my hometown (Marseille) in, like, ten years!
Big, feather-like snowflakes!
I'm unsure wether I wish more having a microscope for enjoying them small miracles of beauty, or being here for pressing some snow on your poor lips (it may not be the most state-of -the art medication, but I remember, when I was a kid, it sort of worked)
