I just saw the best poetry reading I've ever seen. 4 women and one guy from Seattle came to town. They're caled Oratrix.
The thing I liked the best was the woman who articulated why working class types likes me are offended by the high-handed attitude of middle class Democrats. Why in fact they vote Republican.
It's offensive to be told you're stupid because you work with your hands, and have to stand on hard steel in cheap shoes trying to make a buck.
A lot of people apparently don't understand this simple fact.
But Tara Hardy does.
If you live in Seattle and get a chance, you must see these women at some point, or your life will be incomplete.
They managed to distract me from the endless maundering monologue which runs through my head like so many cats.
