Last night I called my daughter to check in on her. She was at some place in Seattle, at a meeting of revolutionary elements.
The phone connection wasn't very good, but I know it had something to do with either Syria or serious. Maybe sirius?

Whenever I hear about a person with a free mind, I feel better about the state of things... it's so sad to meet someone who is a full adult, like 30+, who is so completely blind and just being led to the slaughter again and again... because you know they can't be saved anymore.. when I meet someone young with an open mind, I think that's one more person we have on our side... I've never been to a poetry reading before, but I really enjoy spoken word. I've never tried my hand at that though. I'm more about written poetry... in fact, I would love to publish a book of poetry illustrated with my drawings. 'Tis a dream of mine.
