i wrote a story once for high school, but beforehand i'd asked my dad for an idea because i couldn't come up with anything. he said he'd been in the same boat once, had nothing, then at the fridge decided to write about one night from a stick of butter's perspective. loose excerpt:

it was dark, the sign of life. suddenly it was light. a hand. grabbing, moving. the knife came. slice! slice!

random from earlier all of that, been a while since that one came up, but i am high as a kite after a trip to the good man's house. i seem to have a slight butter theme on this little go round i'm living, and that butter moment inspired a tale from a tomato's view, farm to burger barn salad bar. Tom Ato. i turned that paper in again years later and got a C instead of the A or B it earned the first time. which was bullshit.

a horrendous ban is to be placed upon this town come march 1. a smoking ban. i'm not gonna go on and on about it, it's horrible. very plausibly on a dark cosmological level. i will crack at some point and go on and on about it. i had probably better go out. i don't know, i'm just sitting here with no plan. shredded cheese out of the bag.
