I am pretty happy. Life is crawling in the right direction. Granted it's moving at a turtle's pace, but it's going the right direction, and that's the most important part. I am slowly getting Suicide Note writen, I have several people who have expressed an interest in it. And yesterday, a guy asked about it and said he backed a movie in Dallas and is looking for new projects... So, even if everything offered so far falls through, it's promising! Freak-A-Boo Pictures may have a chance!! Hurray!
Thought of the DayIt's a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it. Somerset Maugham
This weekend's going to be great. I'm going to be going out to dinner at Olive Garden friday night. (I've only been there once and I loved it.) Friday is also the two year anniversary of being on the boat. (Longest I've lived in once place since I turned 18.) Then, Saturday I'm going to relax (and work on the script) all day and that evening I'll go to the comedy show. Don't have to pick the kids up till Sunday.
On another topic... I'm wanting to start getting my website together. I am willing to trade a few lifetime memberships for helping me start it. I need someone to buy a domain, (about $10 for 1 year); to buy hosting (about $40 a year); to help me with programing (I need several scripts installed and some recomendations... the host may help with some of it...); possibly for design... Contact me if you'd like to help... (I'm hoping to get the site up sometime this spring.)

From: eyesplice I just read your "Arts of the Sailor" post. So you never answered my question about playing on Gazela, do you guys have a lot of traditional vessel experience?
I have only sailed my own boat and the one I learned on. Alan sailed on Schooner Western Union. I love the look of tall ships, but I don't think I'd want to crew on one. I like sailing private boats. I've taken a tour of Gazela, though... cool boat! I've seen Kalmer Nickal (spelling) at the docks, but I've never been on her.
