In New Orleans for a media conference. Dinner at Galatoire's -- amazing oysters Rockefeller and crabmeat garnish -- a cigar with one of my bosses walking through the French Quarter, and coffee at Cafe du Monde. A wonderful walk along the river, too. Got scammed by a shoeshine guy -- a first!

A crazy, too-late night last night. Went to a design-related event at Moma, then stopped off at the Abbey on my way home. Got caught up in several fascinating conversations -- with the bartender, a comics artist, and a fellow I thought was Patton Oswalt, I think -- and made eyes at a cute girl before stumbling home.
