I just took two Advil Liqui-Gels for a headache that's stomping across my eyebrows. I never take aspirin -- so this pill popping is a rare occasion. Liqui-Gels are pretty damn cool: Like Chewels gum.

Yeah, I feel for ya. I'm fighting off a beast of a head cold right now, and flew yesterday with it. Fun.

Nope the guy at work is done and gone as of Friday. I think it will be best for all.

Lazy Sunday. Slept in a smidge, and went to the Greeks for a Western plate. Gotta love the $3 brunch. Someone stole my Daily News off the stoop again, so I should finally cancel. Been doing some light work, watching Veronica Mars on the DVR, and just hanging out on the futon. The sun is setting, and the wind is picking up. Oh! I finished...

Went to a Boris Karloff double feature at the Film Forum tonight. J. and her friend showed up for the second movie. Double features rock.

First day back to work up the Hudson after the ever-extending holiday -- transit strike plus holidays plus today's weird Monday holiday, and it's about time! Nice lunch run with M. and G., with a neat moment with M. over coffee. Once home, watched the Simpsons, House, and the new Rollergirls show. Also finished a great sf book.

Made my way into work slowly this morning, arriving in mid-afternoon. Awesome train ride home with M. -- so many fascinating holiday with the family stories... I'm lucky to have my Uno and Yahtzee! Also, got a "date" for New Year's, which'll make They Might Be Giants all that much more fun. Should be neat.

The transit strike was boring. Christmas in the Midwest was relaxing. Now the city is quiet, sleeping somewhere between the holidays and the transit strike. I like it when there aren't so many people here, I think. Something about big cities when they're slow. Like college towns during breaks.

I don't stay up all night often. All night. From wake to wake without sleep. Tonight, I stayed up to prepare. To prepare paperwork, To lay the groundwork for attending a conference next week -- I'm in! And to get ready for a trip west tomorrow. Erm, today. When it hit 11, I thought why not 12? 1, why not 2? Thanks to distracting...

Two of my five favorites are now archived, assumedly because of the recent brouhaha.

Fall is falling. And tonight, world's collide. A former coworker is sharing a new project that's hella cool. I'm giving career advice to recent immigrant designers. And an SG member I've been crushing on -- don't check; it's so on the down low she's not even in my crush list here -- invites me as a friend. I didn't...
