So, a couple of days ago I emailed Neil Gaiman the completed version of the song we wrote together, "Unresolving", which is part of the Hidden Variable project I've been in the middle of recording for a while now. Neil wrote the words, I wrote the music. Besides the wonderful reply I received back from him, he's been writing about it in his journal over the last couple of days at NeilGaiman.com (the Tuesday and Wednesday entries of this week). Needless to say, I'm so happy he likes it, and I move forward with renewed confidence in the whole project.
On top of that, Cosey Fanni Tutti and Chris Carter just sent me the new CarterTutti cd, CABAL, which is utterly amazing. I've been listening to it for a few days now, and it really redefines the boundaries of electronic music...or more appropriately, eradicates them. I highly suggest you take a trip to the CarterTutti website. So, in between the Throbbing Gristle reunion concert in England this weekend and the upcoming planning for a CarterTutti performance at M.O.C.A. in LA in February 2005, it appears that Cosey is interested in recording some vocals for my new album as well.
And I jump for joy.
Hope this find you all well, happy and braced for the upcoming onslaught of holidayness.

Holy shit! As your project gains more and more momentum and good fortune, I'm only that that more looking forward to hearing it!!! I just started re-reading Gaiman's American Gods the other day and have tore myself from it to nuzzle my girl and edit pics from SG Cabaret a couple of weeks ago. If interested, you can find them here.
