I'm not even sure we'll be getting into boolean algebra. So far we're covering (in my opinion) stupid stuff like mean time to failure and benchmarks like the SPEC suite. I couldn't care less. I'm feeling like banging my head against the wall just talking about it.
I know, I'm so close to graduating. But I hate these courses so much and I've struggled so much in courses that I've liked that I'm just worried I'll fail both and will have wasted all this time and money for nothing.
I'm wondering if it would be best to play it safe, drop the courses, get a full-time temporary job for now, and be more financially secure for when I do take the courses I need to graduate. Because I could easily run out of money before the end of this semester. If I dropped the courses, got a refund for them, and got a job, I'd be in much better shape by the summer.
Plus, it's freezing out and it's just miserable to walk around campus right now. Yeah, that's not exactly a good justification for dropping my classes, but I can't help but think about it.
I really appreciate your advice, though. I just wish I had been smart enough to drop these duds before the first week was over and switch into classes I could respect.

getting 1,500 people to get off their lazy arse and go and see a band in england is tricky!!! seriously though, i don't know much about venues of that capacity over here as the bands i'm into only play really small places, but this is largely due to lazy fans. people in london stay in london, people from birmingham seem to stay in birmingham etc, but i'm a gig whore and will travel anywhere within a 3 hour driving radius!!
i guess the last thing i went to which was in a fairly big venue was Dismember, Entombed, Grave and Unleashed, and the turn out was terrible! it was a sunday night, but i doubt that would've made much difference to be honest, i just think english metal fans are lazy. if the people i've been in bands with are anything to go by, that statement's definitely true!! (beer, smoking and playstation priority over riff writing!)
i'm very interested to see how Roadburn goes in Holland, see what fans are like over there.

'Saw III' was ok, but not nearly as good as the second one, which isn't nearly as good as the first!! they just whacked up the gore factor to make up for a pretty weak storyline in my opinion. entertaining enough though at 3 o'clock in the afternoon!
