Baby, it's cold outside

The dog's been refusing to go on walks, even with her jacket and boots, preferring to stay home and cuddle up to the radiator or any other ounce of warmth she can find. I've been staying in and (defiantly?) making ice cream, though I haven't brought myself to eat any of it yet. I think if I keep eating comfort food...

I know exactly what you mean. I looked like a vagabond, with the way I'd assembled a variety of scarves, hats, and such, but I didn't freeze. smile

New York pictures are coming.

In the meantime, the best burger ever turned out to be a dud. The restaurant changed their formula so it was an unfair comparison. An onion bun was substituted and the nasty waitress must have changed up our orders so we got well done burgers instead of medium. Nevertheless, I am still grateful to whomever raised the bar in New...

So yesterday I came home to find that my girlfriend had been watching this for over an hour.

I immediately knew what you were doing at that very moment.

Best burger ever?

Considering your predilection for breakfast meats together (but not touching), I wanted to get your opinion on this monstrosity I came across...

Eating: Homemade apple pie. For breakfast.

Reading: Europe by Norman Davies. I'll be quite proud of myself if I finish it before Christmas. I'll trhrow myself a party if I finish it before my birthday.

(Europe Tidbit for the week: The chair as a place for one person to sit did not enter the standard household until the sixteenth century, and didn't enter the workplace...

I love apple pie and would often eat it for breakfast with a glass of milk. Now you've made me kind of crave it.

The only time I've ever had homemade apple pie though was when Venice made it for me, and even then it was gluten-free.

That breakfast special has my name written all over it. Luckily I don't live nearby or I'd die from a coronary before 30.

Still no Shingles rash.

Pain continues.

Kind of wish it was rabies.

mk700c:
no rash yet?!

Mine took about a week of pain... then the pain went away for 2 days ... then KAPOW! Rash + Pain overnight... then worse, and worse and worse for about a week then slowly better over 2 weeks.
mk700c:
They told me that if I would have caught it BEFORE the rash and started anti-viral that it would have greatly reduced the time I spent as a ball of pain and pregnant-woman-killing machine ... so you may be in for a lighter ride.

At least it's not The Rabies...

...countdown to Shingles began last Saturday.

it's obvious that addie feels real bad for what she couldn't stop herself from doing.

Welcome to my new column entitled,

Shingle and lovin' it!

1. One word, blurred into six: Percocet.
2. Hug some pregnant women!
3. Die for approx. 2 weeks. Then come back to life when the pain goes away ... you'll be glad you did.
4. Hope it's on your arms... really, really really hope it's on your arms.
