Lately so many people have been asking me why I'm a vegan. It's hard to explain. They ask questions like:

Suicide Girls is punk. In British understanding and tradition, punk is mixing politics and social commentary together with sense of humour in a way that challenges preconceptions and makes people think, it's provoking without actually making a literal statement. As a model I wanted to draw attention at trash and paranoia behind fashion shoots. Secondly, I am fascinated by pro-ana movement and ridiculous passion with which girls attempt to lose weight. Thirdly, I have been affected by ED myself, it's a part of my character, id and hence sexuality, and I am not planning to censor any part of me just cause it might not be to everyone's squeamish tastes.
Seeing as Suicidegirls isn't Playboy, I don't feel obliged to always be "pretty and hot" in my SG photoshoots. SG showcases honest, unconventional sexuality. If slasher scars can be considered sexy, I don't see why eating disorder can't.
I am very proud of Candy Darling. And if it matters no, I don't actually puke pink, it was strawberry milkshake.
