Finally starting to get back to normal. Always takes a couple of weekends after I get back from the field if I don't get a couple of days rest instead of going right back to work the next day like I did this time.
Funny how easy it is to fall back into the old patterns when I do a stint of active time. And...

There's just something about getting 4 hours of sleep a night and living in the dirt (not to mention going days between showers) that makes coming back to the "real" world seem sureal.
Sort of like going to listening to 105mm Arty fire while you go to sleep and waking up to 50 Cal.

Hi
Was the comment you just posted in the koran thread directed at me. I wasn't sure. If it was, I'd try to work up some informed response, but I didn't want to go to the effort and look like an idiot if it was meant for someone else.

Sometimes I think waiting for stuff to happen is the hardest part of life. You know it (good or bad) is on the way. And there's nothing you can do but wait.
Sometimes I think the anticapation is the worst part. Dealing with the moment always seems easy cause you know "this too shall pass"...

Hi. Thanks. Yes I just got the criterion collection version a few weeks ago which is probably why it is rolling around in my head.
Well as of today the clock is ticketing. My name is on the roster.
Course that is just the Queue for a second clock which then leads to a third clock.
But hey, least I can say that I know what I'm doing through about the end of 2007.
hooah.

What we are talking about, in essence, is a property right. There is plenty of precedent about ex post procedure that satisfies due process. The repo depot man can come to your house and reposses everything you own before you get a lick of process. And that's totally consistent with the due process clause, as long as you get some ex post process.

I understand it's a dangerous proposition, but it can and should be managed properly. Anyway, it's doubtful that Lautenberg will get too far with this since we can't even get the NRA to agree to change the policies about retaining records.

A four day weekend. Rare for me. Course it is my last free weekend almost a month. But that is life I choose to live.
Heck I'll probalby get more days off deployed down range than I do these days. And I won't have to be worring about starching or polishing either....
Least I don't have to shave every day at my civilian job.

Ever have somebody that you've tried to be supportive of spit in your face?
Sort of a "thanks for being there when I needed a friend and what not, by the way I think you're a jerk, bye".
Yeah, people suck.
Yeah, Dark Beer (BridgePort Black Strap Stout this week) is good.
That is all.

Hey - thanks for the advice in SG military. I know deep down that I am doing the right thing, but I can't help but be a bit scared about the whole process. My satisfaction will be knowing that the Captain won't treat any more girls like he has done to others in the past.

Today is the first Friday off thanks to my new 4 x 10 shed. I think I can get used to having Friday's free very, very quickly.

Sorry, four by ten schedule.
Normal work week is five by eight.
Or another way of putting it, Mondy through Thrusday and I work a ten hour shift instead of an eight.

I didn't know Beck was playing in Ptown. How did I miss that . This makes me very unhappy. I haven't seen Beck since I was like 16 or 17 years old AND I haven't seen shit for live music this summer which makes me sad again.
Are you in the military?
