Clouds of the west! sun there half an hour high! I see you also face to face.

Crowds of men and women attired in the usual costumes! how curious you are to me!
On the ferry-boats, the hundreds and hundreds that cross, returning home,...

Every day I get a brand new show
off TV record and radio
I breeze with the sleaze on my cassette
'cause I got the affirmative

C30 C60 C90 Go
C30 C60 C90 Go
see-three-oh see-six-oh
C30 C60 C90 Go
see-ninety-go

A bit bam-boogie and a booga-rooga

Was that the Hennepin County Doctor? (that bitchslapped Hannity?) That one was awesome--"How can you be so stupid?!"

So satisfying to hear him say after reading about it in the blogs

reprobate:
I am, but I'm also ridiculously backlit. Spent the morning having my mouth worked over. Word to the wise: regular dentist visits = good.

Soon, I need to take either a sg hiatus or drastically cut down on my time on sg so that I can, like, make sure I actually graduate from law school. I must exercise the will power, people.

Aw man if that gets me zotted I ....*ZOT!*

I think I'll be OK. I sometimes walk the line but I think I'm known for being fundamentally reasonable.

There's always that one time where you misjudge, of course, and ... *erk*

Hey... I apologize for being so reactionary on that CBGB thread. I had just come home from a very long and hectic day and I think I got overly defensive. Sorry 'bout that.
nonbillable:
Meh, I always found her posts about 5% amusing, 70% irritating, and 25% unbearably grating, but that's just me. Well maybe it's not just me, b/c I'm guessing someone else wasn't too happy with that last 25% either. In any case, I do worry a bit for CE. Without the nonstop smackdowns what fun would it be?

Nah, i'm an outreach social support worker for adults with learning disabilities and associated physical and mental issues...

...really rolls off the tongue, huh? But yeah, sometimes
i end up being oncall. Which is fun - well, it's better than when i was an oncall undertaker...
the_reverend:
Funeral Director -
You get to wear a heavy wool suit in the summer, work
weird hours, be surrounded by crying people, make
little money, and you get to touch dead bodies!

Lawyer -
Your family and friends all know you are a lawyer.

Hmm, i'll take being an undertaker thanks!
wink tongue biggrin

....snoogins.
Anyway, i trained to be a silversmith... and i've still ended up working with people with learning difficulties!

I agree with you that the scepticism is good. I am just surprised that you have it allready. I mostly enounter law students who are convinced that this is going to be the greatest decision they have ever made. Not that it might not be for some....but a lot are going to be dissapointed...

I must confess that I have temporarily suspended my speech giving as I have actually been doing work that I like... shocked

I think I may have found a niche within the practice of law that I can live with

Actually I still can't say the work is exciting, but I seem to have found a way to do work that I don't hate without dealing with office politics, billing expectations, dress codes and all the other firm bullshit..Plus I only work when I want to.. or I should say if I don't want to work I never have to....there are times however when I would like to work and there is no work for me...

anyway hope school is going well...Keep that healthy scepticism alive....I think it is better than too much optimism...In this specific case that is
