so i think its official. my former plans of moving are in order. i have talked to several people who agree that i should do it. and hopefully i can get some help when i get where i'm going. i have been talking to my artists about getting an apprenticeship and everyone agrees the bay area would be ideal. only problem is money and finding a place to stay and a job.
anyone reading this who might be able to help me out should know that as an artist, i'm not the best. i have a lot to learn but i'm willing to learn, ask questions, put in the effort and work and not question what i'm being told to do. i'm not looking for handouts or an easy way out. i'm doing this for several reasons but i'm not in this to get famous or rich. i'm into this for the love of tattoo art and tattoos in general and because of that i feel that and have felt for a very long time that becoming a tattoo artist would be my "dream job" if there ever was a dream job for me. my background consists of fine arts untill i went to college where i majored in graphic design with a focus in interactive design. i did not graduate and in fact grew away from art untill the past few years where i've been trying to regain my focus and start over. like i said, i'm willing to put in the work if someone is willing to teach me. anyone knowing someone or anyone willing to take on an apprentice should let me know. i put this here because you never know it could help...i will be looking to be out in cali sometime around the end of the month and hopefully finding somekind of job and place to stay.
