I feel like I should update.
But I dont know that I have much news.
Work is the same as always. I havent really turned up much in the way of new work lately that has seemed worth interviewing for. Hopefully that'll pick up soon. Although there's a net admin position coming open at the ISP a friend works at that sounds pretty intriguing. He's going to see if he cant get me an interview.
I'm feeling poor lately. Too many things coming up to suck my money. Taxes, engine problems, bills, and just too much socializing. I think I'm going to have to try to go back into a bit of a hibernation phase and stop going out quite so much. 4 or 5 nights a week is probably overdoing it anyway. Maybe I can trim it down to one?
Speaking of engines, the replacement engine for my old Yamaha finally arrived. I really hope this does the trick for me. That was my first bike, and I really want to get it back on the road. It's a bit ratty, but it's fun and unique, and is tied to quite a few good memories.
The CX500 sold. So now I'm down to just the motorcycle I ride, and that first bike that I should hopefully have back on the road soon. Once it's back on the road and I'm sure it's reliable, I'm thinking I'll sell the goldwing. That should net me some money, and honestly, I dont think I need the big fat touring bike. I dont go that much farther than 100 miles in a trip with any regularity anyways.
This saturday is looking like it will be the usual drunken hangouts down at Voleur. Any friends on here that want to join me and a bunch of other fun people, just let me know or show up around 9 or 10.

I'm not sure what I'll do later on. I'm leaning towards not drinkin much, as I plan on going to the Sermon tomorrow night and don't want to go 4 nights in a row. More of a health than money concern, although I AM unemployed. I'll look up the Voleur location and your # and at least think about tonight. I might want to see Mr Bug's jazz jam again, though (which is at a coffee place).
edit- I was just looking at the Voleur menu. Some of that eats sounds fantastic. Pity the drink menu doesn't see to work!... but I guess I'm not looking at that agenda tonite.
