Apathy has hit me like a ton of bricks. I should be packing stuff, cleaning the house and cleaning my car, but an earlier update attempt failed when I stupidly pressed the back button to copy something from somewhere mad

In the lost update, there was a very long monologue totally devoted to my sweetheart. But since it is now long gone and written totally in free writing style, it shall ne'er be replaced frown.

Yes - I'm still very excited (nervously so) about this road trip starting tomorrow...but the lost note has got me rather down for the time being...maybe i'll edit a little later and make another attempt. We'll see.

She is always saying that I deserve someone better. Oh, sweetheart! Although I made my decision to try to live a better life before we became involved, you are all I need to know that Im doing the right thing. Maybe thats why we work so wellwere each too humble to admit that were good enough for each other.

I dont think I could have been ready for this if I had not re-discovered my capacity to love again this winter. It prepared me to be more open and trusting with people. And you are that person who ensnared me.

How terribly Im going to miss you while Im gone. But thats what the camera is for I guess; so you can look at them when I come back, and it will be as if you were there the whole time anyway. Which, while Im alone, wont console me, but at the very least youll be in my thoughts.

You are changing my life, sweetheart. The excitement I feel at the possibilities open to us is immeasurable how much I want to show you, how much I want to share with you, how much I want to learn from you. Weve got all the time we need, and then some.

April 22nd - Depart Edmonton in the PM, arrive Calgary late that night.
April 23rd - Depart Calgary in the AM, arrive Victoria late in the PM.
April 24th - Crazy antics with Weetzie
April 25th - Depart Victoria in the AM, arrive in San Francisco late in the PM, crash at datsun's.
April 26th - Depart San Fran early AM, stop in Santa Cruz for afternoon hijinks with Thistle and company, continue on to LA to crash with hotcurry.
April 27th - May 3rd - Priority #1 = learning to surf. All else is secondary. A side trip to Vegas may be nice *wink wink*.
May 4th - Begin the long drive home.
May 6th - Hopefully be in Calgary for the day
