I used to live just down Hwy 9 from there, just inside Pott county. I'd come to Norman to hang out with cool people and watch bands, because there were neither in Shawnee.
I saw the Flaming Lips at the Sooner theater on some good acid, then had to drive home in the freezing rain and ice after the brakes quit working on my car, with my tag & inspection stickers out and a warrant for unpaid tickets.

I've been thinking about seeing Fahrenheit 9/11. Tell us what you think of it after you do. What else is new with you? I'm still debating about seeing Interpol, Muse, etc. at Curiosa, since only lawn seats are left. Also still need to find another part-time job. my new favorite shirt is my Electric Light Orchestra light blue tee. things are just happy when you wear a shirt like that. it was my older sister's, so there's a little history to it.

Scarlett Johansson is soooo cute, and I recently saw The Girl with a Pearl Earring. I wasn't crazy about it, but she's still cute in it too.
And I survived many internet-less days on my recent trip, but I definitely didn't approach 8 consecutive days!! Wow. This site isn't a big deal to do without, and most sites aren't really. But just not having that high-speed goodness close by and accesible is hard to take for long. I'm spoiled
