a month of 2005 has passed and i've had time to reflect on...

my top 5 albums of 2004:
in no particular order

Secret Machines - Now Here Is No Where: i feel compelled to use some ridiculous metaphor to describe this record, as in: "listening to this is like riding a slow wave until you realize you're riding a tall crest and are about...

Mclusky kinda reminds me of Modest Mouse, except good.

I have heard great things about both Franz Ferdinand and A Ghost is Born, but have yet to take the time to check either out either of them. I guess I got to distracted with Uh Huh Her and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

Are you going to make a list every month?

to bump into you
accidentally i

of the boys i hate
all the girls i hate
all the words i hate
all the clothes i hate
how i'll never be anything i hate
you smile, mention something that you like
how you'd have a happy life
if you did the things you like"

"Doing sruff is Overrated. Look at Hitler. He did alot of stuff, but don't we all wish he would have just stayed home and gotten stoned?"

I hope this week of school hasn't bothered your game playing too much. I was playing several games, on Xbox btw, the only game on computer right now is WoW, but now there are these "classes" were they want me to "work". Such strange ideas...

I havn't tried paper mario, no gamecube over here, so xbox and computer for me it seems. At least I can have KOTOR.

So, what do they wish you to suffer through this semester?

Best of luck to you.

alice died in the night, i've been learning to drive my whole life, i've been learning... oh, norah!- arcade fire
guitargeek:
You've caused me to look up The Arcade Fire. I think I like this band. I'd heard "Neighborhood #2 (Laika)" on the local college radio station, but didn't know who the band was. Turns out I like a lot of the artists on the Merge label.
guitargeek:
Oh, and I slept with Dolly Parton last night. She was delicious!
