A weekend of champagne and celebrations, now sat in an airport.... waiting
So, finished work Friday, jumped in the car and started the 300+ mile trip to see my folks/sister. Got to Perranporth in about 4.5 hours, which wasn't bad considering a lorry decided to catch fire on the M5 (cheers!)...
My sisters 30th was on the Saturday, so off we went to Falmouth for champagne breakfast... It was a nice day (when the sun eventually made an appearance)... Short lived though as the next morning, after dropping my niece off at her horse riding lesson, I headed home...
Got to bed around 11 last night, then up at 4am to get to Gatwick for my 1pm flight to Orlando... About 5 miles from getting to the airport, found out the plane was late back from Vegas, so I'm now delayed for 3 hours... Not too long in the grand scheme of things, I just hate airports, and the unwashed masses therein
So here I sit, not drunk, not on my plane, not happy... Still, tomorrows another day, sunshine and 30 degrees is all it will take to put a smile back on my face
