Well well well....Vancouverites and the snow. I was supposed to get so much done today in so many different places. Of course my morning quickly got nowhere.
This is the Grandview #1 highway on ramp east bound.
I realize the weather today is difficult for some. But even at that, I was shocked at how many lightweight vehicles were caught in accidents on side street the various municipalities hadn't yet had a chance to service. I suspect all these people are going to get hit by ICBC with 100% liability (for those who don't know, ICBC is or *governent run auto insurance supplier. Up here, we all have it) because they didn't exercise correct discretion as it relates to their vehicles and the road conditions. What a bunch of dumb asses. I saw one side street, I think it was one block west of Rupert, south of Grandview, where ever, and I mean every intersection for at least 5 blocks had accidents because cars slipped into parked vehicles. Did I say dumb asses? I think I did.
Now me on the other hand....me and my penis extender
don't really have trouble in this weather. Yeah, it's an ego thing. But to all you compact car owners, I pay for it at the pump, so it's not all heaven.
I got into Burnaby to pick up a counter top and go to the
Hart House to take care of a few things in anticipation (I love that word becuase of how Tim Curry says it in Rocky Horror Picture Show when he sings "Sweet Transvestite") for the my big job there starting next week.
So back home I go, because there's no way I'm going to get all done today I had to. And here I am hoping the roads are better for tomorrow.
A thought to leave you with.....
....Coolheart's axiom #2 - As a confident, aware, and efficient driver, you will ALWAYS be caught behind a slower vehicle.
Edit.... spelling correction my good friend and "scholar" Fenris 23.
And this is what I spent the last half an hour farting with.

I'm so glad I was on the bus today! Vancouver people should all take the bus or stay home when it snows, nobody knows how to drive in this mess except the people from the prairies! But it does look nice with white stuff everywhere!
