My nights this week have been sleepless, not sure if its cause I care and worry about people, or if its a sleeping disorder.

Either way guess I'm screwed.

Oh come on, I'm sure Rayna's not too creepy. Rumor has it she's actually really cool...

That sucks you can't sleep well. I can't sleep much either... Lately I've been so tired that I can't sleep. Wierd.

Buck Knives!!

Hey, I like that drawing you did of Benni and Apnea. It's pretty good. In my drawing class we're doing self-portraits...wow, I can't draw. I make myself look like really wierd and disproportionate(at least I hope that's not what I really look like). Talk to ya later biggrin

been about a week. nothing happening. broke down and sold the coins wholesale, fuck ebay.

Learned how to list myself on my friends list (go to update, locate the "add friend" spot, type in your own name, and click the "request friendship" button. Unless you've set the auto-decline on, you'll get a request that you can then accept). So now if I lose you as...

I requested Rayna's friendship...and she accepted it. Usually people just decline my friendship requests....wierd blush

ok, it may be easier than I thought. A guy I know who's a coin dealer is willing to give me what the coins are worth, less a small profit for himself. He would then either take the chance and sell them on ebay himself or sell them to a wholesaler. I might just take him up on that, cause otherwise I'm looking to make...

comics, comics... OK, I guess.
Stamps... ho hum.
What we really want to hear more about is the HOUSEMATE. I expect to hear many exciting and fabulous stories if that happens. Good luck! (she got a name, by the way?? stage name?)

when you say not "getting much"......well, just what would that mean? i mean, isnt getting any still worth it? wink

Daunting task ahead of me. Time to get back onto ebay and sell, sell, sell...

My dad got paid on a debt owed to him in coin. The guy literally had purchased and saved mint and proof sets from the 1960's and early 70's. Not one or two sets from each year like normal people... oh no... 5 minimum, many times 15 or more. He...

Sometimes you don't get what you would like out of a friendship no matter what you are willing to contribute.

If I ever had to tell Tegan apart by the metal I would never recognize her. I don't really see her as you described her though. She doesn't look that different to me from set to set. Some variation but not enough not to recognize who it is. At least for me. The pic I posted last most resembles how she looked when I met her. She reminds me of a girl I grew up with. Especially in the scaffold set.

I don't know if she actually planned on meeting people. She just happened to show up at the same place that I was already at.

Good luck with the coins.

Back to work tomorrow. Took Monday off to make sure I was all better. I'm not, but I gotta get back at it. I'm sure I'll be in over my head when I get to work, and I'm leaving early to go to the dentist. I wonder if I'm supposed to cancel that or not..? Oh well, its just a cleaning.

3 more weeks and...

As far as The Punisher game, it's very linear (certainly no GTA) and there's not a lot of room to "do your own thang," but it's still good fun.

I still need to read American Gods... But then there's a lot of stuff I need to read. Reading for a living makes it difficult to want to read for pleasure. But I'll get there...

...Eventually...

...I hope... confused

Well I lucked out the 2nd time around. There was just a lot of ice and snow in my engine that when it melted the starter wouldn't work. It started fine once all the ice melted and the water dried up on Tuesday with our unseasonably warm weather...The only downside is a headlight went out on my other car (the summer car) and I have...

Friday night I had a great time trying to get home. I was going down Interstate 35 from some 50 miles north of Saint Paul at the incredible high speed of 60 miles per hour. You might state "So?" and then remind me that the speed limit on that stretch is 70. But those that live in the area and knew that there was a...

buddy i telling you. this shit is beginning to suck. the blizzards up here were nasty too. at one point id given up and just thought it was simply a matter of where i go in the ditch, not if. people up here are not lke in the citys though. the initial thought is to grill you and eat you, then it kicks in that maybe they should help you, by then theyve passed you and suddenly forget altogether about you having been distraced by pretty lights or something.....
thejuanupsman:
Hmmmm, I don't remember any question standing out as seeming harder than the others (in fact I was sure I was right about the one I did get wrong). Which one did you think I would get wrong?

Yeah, I don't care about the SG thing either. I just thought it would be a hard question, because I have never really told anyone about which ones I have met, so no one should be able to get it. You made some interesting guesses though. I like looking at the questions people get wrong. Far more interesting than what they get right. Especially if some answers are "more wrong" than others.

Hmmm, I saw Elektra with a friend too. I was pleasantly surprised, better than I expected. Ahhh the joys of low expectations. I think it also helped that I am not overly familiar with the character.

See this is why cars suck. Bike repairs never cost that much and whn you wipe out on an icy hill and kiss a snow bank you don't need a tow truck to get out. Actually I have never had a bad wipe out on ice or snow. Just in dry conditions. confused whatever
Of course, biking home from Wisconsin might kind of suck. Hope the car problems turned out ok.

My car cost more... it was a total of $1807.70. I was not prepared for this. I am now broke. If it weren't for the tax return I'm expecting, I'd be in financial ruin (funny how $800 more than I was prepared to spend can do that)... and that return will still be awhile (cause its not coming from the IRS, its coming from a...

That's weird. That's almost exactly how much money I had to put into my car recently. I was gonna get rid of it, but after sinking that much cash into it, I feel like it owes me now.

Yes, that's right. I've actually resorted to guilting my car into working. The first signs of dementia, you say?

...Probably... surreal

Last year, my winter car was having some problems that while I tried to fix them myself over the summer, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, and just recently took it to the experts. They found out what was wrong and are fixing it to the tune of $1700.00. I was prepared to spend $500-1000. This blew me away. Good thing I...

I don't know which is more foolish. You not naming in your journal the "friend" that you went to the movie with. Or you trying to do your own home auto repair. On the one hand, by naming her you could have become to envy of all of SG and had your coolness quotient elevated by several degrees. On the other hand unless your winter car is a '72 Nova, I can't believe you would consider a knuckle-busting, home remedy repair job. Back to #1... I would scream it all over SG that she was sitting with me in the theater, if only to feel the self importance for a moment. And #2, I have done complete engine rebuilds in my spare time but I will not lift the hood of a modern automobile. So, I'm torn as to which concept would make a more foolish man? biggrin
