Okay. So I doubt anyone still reads this or it will get comments but someone bothered to pay for my account so I might as well update on the last few years.

Events in my life from 2004-2009:

  • Got Married

  • Had a daughter - named her Vivi

  • Sister Died, found her body: April 3, 2007

  • Finally got diagnosed with Lupus in early 2008 - that...

A bunch of people have been getting free memberships from the site. It's been all over the place. I talked to our brother the other day and I give my condolences about your father. That really sucks. Your sister goes through my thoughts often.

Thank goodness for your diagnosis. My mom has MS and doctors told her she was crazy for a long time before they found out what was wrong with her. Being sick and having no one believe you is a horrible thing.

Um... who renewed my account? I haven't hung around here since my sister bought it.

For the really curious, I keep a live journal here: http://www.sephirajo.livejournal.com

I'll put something of more substance here later. But I'm very, very confused right now.

Yay! Helena lived! Not only that, she's doing well and is expected to get her internet accesses back on Monday. I can't wait to talk to her! Heh, the chick that shot her is in jail, and Helena's lawyers, who, being the kind caring souls they are, thought Helena was a goner and charged her with murder one.

Luckily, Helena lived, so it's only attempted...

A friend of mine got shot last night. I wish I could drop everything and go to her, but she lives down in Aussie land... I don't have the money to go, though I ironically have the time right now.

I just found out she's alive and it soothes some of the biting worry that's been eating and twisting in my gut like a monster....

Nice to see that you've returned. I missed you.

Hope Helena gets well.

Since I'm not good on that topic, I'll change it. Come to my journal and take my quiz. I'd be sure curious to see how you do... wink

wow. it seems to tell me something >sweet< when the only people you've left comments for in the last 30 days (on this site anyway) have been me and your sis.

I know how special she is, so I feel just as special as a result.

Wish I had pictures of kitties and puppies destroying tokyo to send you..

love

Hmmm, well what's up in Jo Land? Truthfully I don't know. I work there fore I am, I write therefor I am.

I've been plowing through my collection of books on Zen Buddhism again, I love those. I mean, Zen Masters say the damnedest things. Makes me wonder, since at times I answer questions strangely, am I enlightened?

I guess since I have to ask,...

What happened, where's the list of questions..? You did 'em once and that was it... Don't I get another chance to prove that I'm really not that stupid? I mean, other than the fact that I'm a guy and guys are stupid?

Anyway, I managed to make it out to meet my dad, despite a bout with a stomach bug earlier in the morning. Chuck blamed my cooking, I blamed an ice cream sunday I bought at a fast food joint. After downing remedy after remedy for explosive stomach pain + heart burn, I was finally in the good to go.

So, I went to St. Paul,...

Isn't the EXcel Center in St. Paul? Like it shouldn't be a hop, skip and jump from there...

A denim skirt is dressing up? What do you usually wear when you go out, pink pajamas with the feet and the buttons over the bum area and bunny ears?

Your dad's a photog? That explains alot.. The reason you think he doesn't pay alot of attention to you is that you haven't followed in his footsteps... or have you? I know that Benni used to do the school thing, and with her tats, if she herself isn't the artist, she is at least the canvas in that respect. Also, at work, she is doing something that has traditionally (in other countries anyway) been an art form. You just need to be doing something artistic to get noticed more... like, go work at Subway like a nephew of mine does... then you too can be a "sandwich artist." tongue

But seriously, it looks like you did indeed have a great time, and now I know why "spending the day" (which is what I thought you and your dad were gonna do as I recall) is such a short amount of time when your sis talks about stuff like this. Its an inherited trait. No one in your family must equate "spending the day" as more than a couple hours. I was under the impression this term means 8-12 hours. But if it works, it works... and this way you're able to spend the day with several different people that never meet each other. I guess.

Ouch. That ended up in a not as cheery-a-way as I thought it would. So therefore... "Have a great _________" (fill in the blank)!!!!

Well, in little less than an hour it will be my day of birthness. Also 24 years since john lennon bit it. Cool huh? Well, not really, but you get the idea.

I get to meet dad at Sakura in St. Paul tomorrow. ^_^ I hope he'll show up and we'll have fun. I want a good birthday this year. ^_~

Chuck and I are...

Did you order the unagi? Its yummaliscious. Kabuki gets horrid reviews all around, but I found a place with a tatami room that you will love. I decree that we go there and have a grand time feasting on all things Japanese (except the chefs, as you are engaged).HAIL ILPALAZZO! Also, many huggles from me, and a shoulder to cry on if your dad dissapointed you.

hey, you ok? Did you go on your father-daughter day yet?

*Squees*

Well, my outlook for the next little while has gotten a lot better. ^_^ I was able to get ahold of my dad, and I need to pick a place for us to meet on my day of birthness. I got a pair of footy pajamas for adults. (I'm such a dork) And Chuck may have found us a place! An apartment, two bedrooms...

So, my birthday's coming up. And I have one simple wish. To spend a day with my dad. Just me and him. No one else. It doesn't seem like much to ask, does it?

Well it is when I keep calling and get no one. When all my emails and messages go unanswered. It's enough to make me sit back and wonder, does he hate...

i get the same treatment. he loves you all the same, even if it feels like he doesnt....

heh. sometimes i feel like i float around with NO family. nobody. not you, not the boys, no parents. like i just sprang into existence from the own awesome force of my will... and existed lonely and unfulfilled forever.

everyones family is fucked up. i just think a lot of times its less palpable. those are the people who think everything is fine but wonder why they FEEL depressed when they have no reason... the sistuations that just barely scratch the surface but make you feel shitty anyways without even knowing why or what...

at least we know were fucked up. were a ruined broken unit but we know it.

and all of us love each other nonetheless, even when we think we dont.

Hello...
You will learn that parents and adult children can be friends! Really! The moment you can both see each other as "grown-ups", you will have a friendship that will last the rest of your lives. I was in my mid-twenties when I was sittin' around watching a ball game with my dad, when we were talking about mortgage payments or tax loop holes or somethin like that, and he realized I wasn't a kid anymore. I realized he saw me as an equal and it brought him down a notch. For years we were like guy friends. We would talk about work, girls, cars, whatever. He would ask me stuff about the stock market, I would ask him about parenting. We had a very cool relationship til the day he died.
Don't give up on Dad. He's just a guy. Guys are idiots. Tell him you want to be his friend, and that you don't want to be left out of his life. It'll make him cry... in a good way. smile

Well, my brithday is coming up soon. Kinda looking forward to that, though this week has been a bad one in jo land.

One of my online friends was beaten and raped by an abusive ex, and is now in the hosptial. Since she lives over seas I can't go see her. But according to all sources, she is doing well an expected to recover...

Just came across your comments for your sis in her journal. I agree, you should be more like Benni. You should be in the same line of work. Working next to her, yeah. I'd be there supporting both of you, and be broke, but a sister team would be so cool. Oh wait, that's right, there is a sister team already there and I ignore both of them... hmmm.... oh well, it sounded like a good idea...
comicking:
I'd like to hear an embarrassing story about her... so then I can repeat it to her and embarrass her some more... hehehe! She can't embarrass you back, since to the best of my knowledge I've never met you. I only know what your name, and your brother's names are. I also know the name of the street your mom lives on ("boo"), and assume if I really wanted to I could track you down, but I respect Benni too much to do something like that. So go ahead... tell me a story... and make it a good one. Use my contact to email it to me (I promise not to keep your email address unless you want me to and tell me to keep it).

Oh. My. God. I'm in russian! :total high: Russian AEP

It's a translation of a fanfic that's about a year old. Rurouni Kenshin. Someone liked it enough that they took the time to translate me into russian.

Does this mean I'm a russian novelist? That I have to write long books that make no sense?
