LOVE SONG
The sun shone round in soft, flowing streams
Around your body's silhouette in the
green grass wove around you,
While those flowers listened
(Jumping startled through the grass,
so big eared)
To the enriching sound of our love,
As I put a trembling, strawberry
gathering hand (it said please)
Inside your warm-fluff dress
And touched your flesh in there that moved
( I could feel tears) and said -- yes!
Then the song became -- all there
was
As the sunstreams walked back a little
And our flowers, closed-mouthed, listened
Fully to the lyrics of our song
Ahh. . . and we were somewhere in the air,
And gladful-tears came
We tasted them on each's lips
And asleep in loving arms
It was so -- yes. . .
