Are there many hurricanes in VA, we're thinking of moving in the next few years, mid-east coast looks good but some place with few natural disasters is a big consideration.
A few, time to time. Of course it's worse the more closer you live to the coast. I lived in Roanoke which was about 4-5 hours from the coast and we had prob. 2 really bad hurricans in the last 15 years.
I wouldn't move to Richmond very bad vibes. Norfolk (near coast) and Charlottesville (UVA college town) are pretty cool.

So how are ya? Things are better than they were during my last doom and gloom post. Never get a chance to hang on the internets much. Been a Busy Lizzie. My boyfriend Mr_Matt_ hangs here often....are you folks friends here yet? He's from Scituate.
I think cover letters are crucial for any resume submits via email. Just a few powerful sentences of introduction and then about 5 bullet points about your sublime and inimitable talents should suffice. Tell them as much as you can and don't make them scroll. Short is better.
