Salisbury Beach...nope, never been there. That's way up there, innit? Being stuck on Nantasket Beach peninsula was akin to living in Myanmar sometimes.

So how are ya? Things are better than they were during my last doom and gloom post. Never get a chance to hang on the internets much. Been a Busy Lizzie. My boyfriend Mr_Matt_ hangs here often....are you folks friends here yet? He's from Scituate.

I think cover letters are crucial for any resume submits via email. Just a few powerful sentences of introduction and then about 5 bullet points about your sublime and inimitable talents should suffice. Tell them as much as you can and don't make them scroll. Short is better.

Well, I got my wish, I'm outta here !!!
And for the first time ever, I just might be all packed by nightfall.

My son and I are leaving in the morning to spend the rest of the summer with my mom, sister and extended family in New Hampshire. I'm already pretty sure that I don't want to come back, but I'll...

I put my little sis on a plane this morning. She is now a snowbird -- spending the summer anywhere but Phoenix -- I wish it could me be.

She was actually supposed to leave yesterday but is notorious for missing flights - okay, I overslept, but if you had planned to be on the road by 6 am would you wait until quarter to 7 to find...

Move along, nothing to see here...

I want my old name, back when I was a lurker, but it's also my ebay name and I guess I'd rather keep them seperate - this one is just too New Age (not that there is anything wrong with that).
How often to people change aliases and does it even really matter ??

My old boss asked me...

Are there many hurricanes in VA, we're thinking of moving in the next few years, mid-east coast looks good but some place with few natural disasters is a big consideration.

A few, time to time. Of course it's worse the more closer you live to the coast. I lived in Roanoke which was about 4-5 hours from the coast and we had prob. 2 really bad hurricans in the last 15 years.
I wouldn't move to Richmond very bad vibes. Norfolk (near coast) and Charlottesville (UVA college town) are pretty cool.
Hope that helps....Look into NC!

well thank ye kindly... smile

i've got extremely curly hair... and i have to say, i haven't been really happy with a single haircut i've had in the past 6 years. i gave up, i think. heh.

Vegas is as Vegas does... Unless you loose a lot of $$$ you can't not have fun.

Stayed in TheHotel @ Mandalay for their reasonable mid-week rate (3 TV's and the biggest tub I've ever had the pleasure to soak & drink cocktails in. Figured that they didn't reissue the velour flip-flops provided and considered taking the robe too, but it wouldn't fit...

"I cannot change the direction of the wind, but I can set my sails"
Who knew paper towels could be so inspirational...

2 days left @ work, then a long weekend with my favorite cousin in Vegas, I'm totally itching. I'm going to do laundry in my dancing shoes as practice.

My baby Ruby will be staying at a kennel. I know I'll...

Cheers to you and Ruby! Ya gotta be excited, huh? Sorry 'bout the mix-up. My mail should be workin now. I just forgot to change the address when I moved, seeing as the old one is no more. Thanx so much for the heads up. My boss is a dick, so I leave for LA again tomorrow. From here on out, other than the tour, I'll be back and forth. It's just easier to find work there. I'll be back here from the 2nd till the 10th of June. Have a blast in Vegas!!!

So I had an arguement with my brother-in-law last night, no big deal. He sent me a 12 paragraph email this morning to tell me that I over-reacted.

Oh the irony...

He owns the domain that my email goes through and I haven't been able to get a connection since last night - this better be a coincidence...
