My stress levels are so high right now. You can almost see it, a sort of high sheen surrounding my head, like a polished aluminum shell of anxiety.

Moving x-xountry always does this. Juggling work deadlines, making sure checks come in on time, packing, dealing with plane tickets, movers, cats on the plane, turning off utilities, turning them on, cleaning, finding boxes, shipping computers, etc....

Congragulations on the EW mention. I'm a bit of a PR whore, so even a line mention like that would have me skipping

couple promo things:

I got a couple mentions in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, in an article that is billed as being about one of my publishers, but turned out to include a few other people. Here's a scan:

comic books is the only industry i can think of where people will give you shit for wanting to be compensated decently for your hard work.

sometimes i despair.

gonzoe:
and what's more depressing, is that it's one of the few industries producing anything of any creative value.
autodidactic:
I love how, amongst my comic-book making friends, there's still their parents/loved ones/friends asking: when are you gonna get a "real job"?

No, Mom... this is my "real job".

transcribed interviews always make me cringe because I think I sound like an idiot the way I talk. anyway, the lowdown on my Couriers series of graphic novels and comics in general.

Shirt folding is made a lot easier if you got something like a folding board (a small cutting board can work pretty well) it makes the shirts folded to all about the same dimensions, which can make stacking or storage much easier.-( yes, I wasted a few months of my life working at a clothing store)
