I was hit with the realization that 2009 marks the 10th year since I graduated high school. That is all
radiofrank:
It's been eleven years for me (this was back when Ontario had prospective university students take a fifth year of high school, though).

I'm still doing the landscaping type stuff, but I've moved into a different aspect of the process. There will be more on that in my next entry. If you can wait, haha.

Congrats on the new place, becoming an uncle, and your new career path...especially since you've already had some experience in taking down unruly people, haha.

So, how's 2008 treating me so far?
1. Ipod mysetriously dies, need to get it sent away for replacement (minor, but still a pain in the ass)
2. Got in a fender bender- nobody hurt, but still something I have to spend money on that I really could have done without.
3. Lost my job. Was prety abrupt, so I didn't have any backups really...

Bah! Sorry to hear about the run of crappy luck so far, but I know that you will bounce back.

...and I agree with FP. There's a certain satisfaction in watching a friend beat the crap out of someone else. biggrin

Hey, my brother is coming down from Fort McMurray for karaoke on Wednesday. You should come out. There's going to be a whole bunch of people out. Drinks will be had. Songs will be sung. Good times man. I'm tellin' you.

I know I probably shouldn't be in any shape for cognitive thought come January first, and when you have five days of slothfulness, it makes it pretty easy to come up with some new years resolutions a week or so ahead of the deadline for them. I also know that when you commit to something and have it written down somewhere it's easier to stick...

I've been taking a quick 10-15 minutes the last few nights to draw a random picture from one of the days sets. some have turned out better, some worse, but really, I don't think I can really do any of them justice.
figmentation:
YAY for drawing. (May we see some?)

T minus 27 days until I'm slated to fight again. Is it a bad thing that I'm considering the weddings of my sister and my best friend (back to back weekends) to be not much more than obstacles to my training regimen?
calixte:
LOL you amuse me as always.... come see me sometime! There are no more cats for you to trip over!
radiofrank:
Why am I not surprised? biggrin

I moved into a new place on the fifth of September. I am still waiting for the internet to get hooked up. I have watched every single DVD I own, and every ill-gotten movie or TV show on my computers hard drive. I'm getting a quick fix of internetology while I do some laundry at the parents place (My place has a washer and dryer...

I find myself conflicted with my desires. Part of me always yearns for consistency and tightly regimented order, and the other half desires uninhibited freedom and being able to live with reckless abandon. sometimes I think it would be best to just live by the flip of the coin.
