Ugh. Fuck school.

In other news, it's 4.20 and I have a brand new pipe but nothing to smoke in it. Today, I am going to be a total scavenger and hit up everybody in the music department.

I study at the University of Victoria (which you've almost certainly never heard of) and while things are pretty good and getting consistently better, there is still sometimes a laissez faire attitude towards music. It just sucks when people don't give a shit. Why even show up?

I've thought about grad school. I've also thought about putting down my trombone and doing something completely non-music related. If I did go to grad school I'd probably stay in Canada just because there is no way I could afford American tuition. What you guys pay is craaaazy.

The competition I was in sucked ass. I played like shit. But beat a grad student and am the alternative to nationals. whatever

thanks for the compliment. blush i've considered doing another trombone-y set (my first ever set, which was rejected, featured my giant beastly brass instrument) but i'm kind of afraid it could backfire later on. like i'll win an audition in germany or austria or somewhere classy and then somebody will discover that i am the naked bass trombonist.
