The thing is, life is never going to be anywhere close to perfect. Some things may go according to plan, but others definitely won't. It's great to work to improve one's flaws, but it's pointless to castigate oneself for having them. There's plenty of good stuff in the world and I'm betting there are many positive things you've accomplished, even if there are also failings. Work to improve what you don't like, but try to put just as much effort into enjoying the ride. None of us are getting out of here alive, and no brownie points for perfection will be issued. Think of Bill Murray's character in Groundhog Day - if there's hope for him, there's hope for all of us.
Isis - everytime your profile pic turns up on my 'friends blogs' page, your eye is spectacularly arresting and makes me stop and wand to see more of you - cheesy and creepy when put in writing - sorry.
