Woot! Congrats and yay for the beakerman getting to stay around. Seriously, how much cleaning is there to do from 10pm til 5am? Doesn't sound like a too difficult job and third shirt usually pays pretty decent as well as being pretty fun since you don't have to be all uptight and professional in front of people

yeh, i think being at home may help him out a little. he is starting to get pissed off that he is in a cage.

i am from missouri after all, something about the smell of soco reminds me of home (more specifically the bar that was next door to the resteraunt i worked in). but i guess it all qualifies as home.

I would give them a call. It shows initiative and that you really want to job. Just say you are checking in to see if they have finished interviews and checking applications and if they might have an idea of when they will be making their selection and compleing the hiring process.

congrats on the part time job in the interim! I don't know if I would waste the money on bartending class. The best bet would be to find a place that's hiring and see if they will teach you. Some places are will to teach and you'll get paid rather than have to pay. Everyone that I've talked to has said it's pretty much a rip off to take classes. A good place to check out would be a resturaunt that had a bar. They tend to have extra staff and can teach during the day when the bar portion is slow rather than need someone who is good and fast right away.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Te holidays are busy with parades that we walk in and carnivals in the area. So goes my July. Midterms start on Wednesday for me too. Busy busy.
