And the fun continues... I finished all of the NVG's that came in. And what is my reward for doing this?... I get "volunteered" for guard detail. My Sgt's told me today that I have to pull tower guard until I go on leave. That's one of the disadvantages to shooting expert/sharpshooter on the weapons qualification. You get volunteered for security details alot. I guess...

Lucky you on the R&R!!! I can't go on R&R until Nov. but guard duty sounds pretty sweet compared to the idea of getting stuck in a hot ass kitchen all day with a SPC with a Naploleon complex.
I finally got a day off. I worked 7 days straight. It feels so good to just sit and relax. Well, I went to the gym, but I consider that relaxing. I also watched "History of Violence". It's a pretty good movie. I didn't really like the ending tho'. The sex scenes were pretty hot too.
