So an update on my Wii installation. Apparently, my friend forgot to give me Wii Sports (that's okay, she has it, she will bring it to my workplace), and she accidentally gave me the HiDef cables instad of the RCA cable. Whoops! (She'll get that for me too. I think. She might forget about that one.) The cable don;t matter, I can always order it online. Until then, all I hear is sound. a familiar Nintendo sound.
So after reading my friend's blog, I noticed that it is......near my birthday on August 18th. The big 30. Well, to me, being 30 isn't anything important. It's a cultural thing, according to socologists. Asia, Native American cultures (and others I don't know) don't have it. For one thing, I don't have that mid-life crisis, because I have done everything except resting....
-I supported and was the only breadwinner in my family after my father left the family (actually he got arrested)...this was when I was 18 with only $5.75 an hour. Definitely hard to support three people. I'm glad my mom did the budget.
-Supported my sister through Columbia University, paid the whole she-bang for her.
-Must have met many great women....and guess what? I had no time to date.
-When I did have a date, she became attracted to women and not me....on our first date. Don't ask. I still laugh about it.
-Loved every type of woman imaginable....trust me.
-Have great friends!!!!
-Made (with a group of dedicated individuals) the first Halloween Party for the New York MS Society. I was the decorator for the party in Chris Noth's restaurant/bar/club...it was a bit too successful, I had to drop out next year. They are still doing the Halloween Party every year, which is great.
-Predicted that comic books and graphic novels are the next big thing. I'm still trying to convince people that British TV is on the rise.
-Caught all Pokemon. Then I had to sell it.
- I must have saved the world.
All righty, tomorrow is my dentist appointment for fillings...will blog again on Thursday. See you all then, and take care! I'll e-mail from time to time though.
