so, i weighed myself at the gym tonight...and i was pleasantly surprised.

i have lost 16 of the 23 pregnancy pounds i gained! 7 more and i'll be back to pre-prego weight.
i'm feeling a little better about the way i look. i just have to remember that its only been 2 weeks since i had my baby.

can you believe that quincy is almost a week old? holy crap! that seems damn near impossible. she's changed a lot this week.

she's so expressive...just like her mommy!

this Thanksgiving, i truly have something to celebrate...being thankful for love. love in all its forms from all sources is truly the most beautiful gift of all and needs to be celebrated.

i am a mom!

yes, miss quincy caid was exactly 3 weeks early.

anyways, a better blog with better pics later...there's more to this happy story. my special guy flew up from texas to spend time with us!
