Yeah, sure, I'm still suffering from shingles, but I still have to go out. My skin is looking better now, which is awesome.
Tonight, I discovered four new places:
-Creperie at 135 Ludlow Street. (Best crepes ever in NYC.)
-Spitzer's Corner having "Old Speckled Hen" on tap at 101 Rivington St. No relation to the disgraced ex-New York governor (www.spitzerscorner.com)
-Sympathy for the Kettle at 109 St. Mark's Place (www.sympathyforthekettle.com) for delicious, fresh tea blends, such as Love Rosemary (a black tea blend of rosemary, violet, and caramel). And they have great honey blends as well, such as the lavender honey.
-And finally, Australian HomeMade (http://www.australianhomemade.nl/index.asp), a ice cream shoppe with the best chocolate ice cream ever! It' located at 115 Saint Marks Place.
So after an exciting night, I finally made it home. Tomorrow is the Young Member Party at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will showcase their "Superheroes and Fashion" exhibit. I've definitely gotta press my clothes for that occasion.
