Not much going on tonight...just reading "The Castle of Otranto" given by my friend to read. Then I'll have some fun reading "The Nearly Complete Essential Hembeck Archives Omnibus"...whew! smile
tabi:
i seriously thought i was going to die monday night, or get mugged or something. i'm a lazeist (not quite an atheist, just too lazy to care about religion), but something watched over my that night, i don't believe it was luck that saved me from a crackhead, ending up in jamaica and making sure i got on the right two trains, as well as someone who offered out of the kindness of their heart and refused money to give me a ride to my friend's because i was too drunk to walk.

So I was invited to my colleague's (Syed) party in the China Club...however, I didn't go. I'm actually glad I didn't go, however, it is kind of annoying when people won't take "no" for an answer. If I were in that same situation, I would let the person go. Syed's co-worker (actually, someone who doesn't even consider him a friend in the first place) was...

Today I went out with my friend to a place called "Crooked Tree" in the Lower East Side. My friend must really like crepes. I had a Nutella and Banana Crepe. Delicious!

Crooked Tree is located in 110 Saint Marks Pl # 1 in New York. I believe it's near 1st Avenue. It's kind of cramped n the Sunday brunch, so we ordered crepes to...

While at lunch today, I was undecided, as most white-collar workers do, of what to have for lunch. Working in the Times Square area of NYC isn't the most healthiest area in the world. Luckily while me and my friend wandered, we saw a new restaurant where we could buy our sandwiches (and be healthy): Free Foods. It's located at 18 West 45th Street. I...

Whew! Me and my co-workers moved into our building at One Bryant Park in NYC. I am so tired i can hardly even open my eyes. Zzzzzzzzzzz...... Hope you are all doing okay. I'm going to sleep early tonight.
lolablu:
My summer job isn't too far from Bryant Park. I kind of hate how busy that area of the city is, but I do like sitting in the park or on the stairs of the NYPL.

So I woke up early (from birds singing their songs outside), and I was ready to go watch "The Dark Knight".

And when I arrivedI was stunned at the long line. Despite warnings from news stations about long lines, I was still surprised. However, I still managed to get an ticket under 5 minutes, which is awesome. The theater was well-attended, the audience was a...
