It's interesting... I notice that, here in Scotland, men will kiss each other (particularly when drunk.)
Still kind of going to and fro on being recovered from that ear infection... my hearing is improving, I can hear the crunchy noises when cars drive by again. It still sounds muffled when I hum to myself though. I went out today to the National Gallery thinking that would be something not too strenuous, but it's a long walk and ultimately you are still walking within the gallery. I began to feel more ear/throat aches coming on and a slight feverish feeling again. I came home and had a strange, desperate craving for pineapple and cottage cheese. I bought some at Margiotta (1.19) and ate it all in about 2 minutes.
Rest of the evening might be spent abed, again.

The National Gallery is really cool, and really big, so no surprises that it didn't offer you any reprise from that whole walking thing. I thoroughly enjoy your casual use of the word "abed", though.

Pretty much every bar in Edinburgh does karaoke, however it's very unlikely any of them are actually good, hence the need to be drunk.
