I'm beginning to look like a Frazetta lady -- not really fat but not muscular or bony.

So I've had a few trips to the dentist now, and in bad good news, there's nothing wrong with my teeth. So I just have to hope it goes away, whatever's been irritating my mouth.

Been kind of chillin', as needs no G. Dealing a lot with makeup...

I've been eating wayyy too much fast food it seems. I'm on the verge of not fitting in clothes. Time for me to exercise more or eat less! (I'm usually eating 2 meals a day plus some small snacks, which was enough to get really skinny in Scotland where I was walking miles and miles a day; but for New Mexico where if I go...

Fast food will do that to you, but I seriously doubt you are fat at all!

It's too bad SG went downhill and kind of scared off most of my friends on here. I'd like to be able to report happy news to everyone who'd been worried about me, now that I have some :)

No major life events or anything. Just things have been going nicely. I think a major innovation is that I've pretty much given up on my...

Hello there, pleased to hear things are flowing smoothly in life. I would like to see some of your artwork! And what is this glorious marmalade you speak of, yummmmm.

good to know you're doing all right, and yes, I am scared of posting much here... and am unmoved by much of what I encounter here... i guess it is for a blander, less complex generation now...

Went out with my parents this evening to the Dairy Queen in Pojoaque where we each ordered 2 types of mini Blizzard and shared them all. I thought the three best were the banana split, Georgia mud and Snickers. My parents really liked the Hawaiian one but I didn't love it quite the same. There was also a chocolate turtle one that mostly tasted like...

Just saw the Veronica Mars movie. It was fantastic.

franie:
Does Kristen Bell keep her clothes on in it?
aristophanes:
Yes. There's a running thing about Veronica having a sex video online, but even in the moments of it that you see, she seems mostly clothed.

So I have, at last, figured out a way to paint skies which produces satisfactory results comparable to painting with watercolor on rice paper! It involves using the paint medium of Orazio Gentileschi, which does a great job thinning and blurring colors.

Still have not sold any oil paintings. There's one painting someone expressed interest in -- called "Crags" -- which I would repaint if...

The picture of La Sylphe is getting close to her deadline of destruction... if anyone wants to save her from being painted over, time is of the essence...

You can find her at http://taliafelix.ecrater.com as well as other unsold paintings.

Enjoyed watching and I like your take on the painting; the countenance of Saturn in general, but mainly the bushy brow and nose. His eyes look fierce!

Watched the video in art lovers group.  Great care and attention to detail!  I know it's difficult to be sure about the colors and the exact medium recipe, but still your own style is very vibrant.

Kind of terrifying - but I guess that's ok sometimes!  Great job!

Still making lots of art... part of what's getting me is I'm anting to experiment with the techniques. I'm copying two paintings -- Rubens's "Saturn Devouring His Son" and a portion of Van Eyck's "Arnolfini Marriage." I am nearly done with the Rubens, but the Van Eyck takes a long time.
