I wish you could scan in some pictures they look great... I want to use real film more but I can't afford it cause I can't even afford.. well anything. So, digital it is. A lot.
umm let's see, in no particular order, some plays that are think are totally excellent are:
a long day's journey into night - eugene o'neill
no exit - sartre (trite i know i know but i've studied it extensively and have nice memories of directing it for a gr 12 final)
swimming to cambodia - spalding gray (not technically a play, technically a film and even more technically a monologue but a very powerful piece of theater available on vhs)
i used to really like this canadian playwright named daniel mcivor (sp? i think) i can't for the life of me remember what play of his i really like...i think it also had to do with 'swimming' or drowning or something, it was a long time ago.
there are others that i like, mostly not qualitatively but because i have a personal connection to them. theater used to be my life. anyways, hope that indulged yr curiosity. xo
2 yrs ago they played to like a gazillion people in Hyde Park - London
they are massive at the moment
it took the mellow chilled out BTW to finally grab everyones attention over here
obviously they've had a following for forever but now they get specials on the BBC
right now i'm swollen and numb, so i don't know quite what i will feel once it's healed. it's called a triangle, though, and bmezine.com has tons of stories of experiences about it.
I sort of had a lot of time for writting everyone comments during the past couple of months, that's probably only why i have that many comments..
as for my dreams, i realized not so long ago that only myself can realize them... It's a bit reassuring since I have a lot of will, but it's also really disappointing because you get to understand that the ones depending on other people will often , if not always not come true..
maybe that makes you a real prophet and me also a dying or a dead woman...
it's ok i still have a full bag of achievable goals by my side to keep me busy during a while..
I liked the previous pic of you...
