zee pink, she is hot, ja?
a few months ago when i was tripping on these really intense shrooms in a hotel room in Dusseldorf, one of the ways i passed the time was by watching this like all-day special they had about her on german mtv. so it was like hours on end of marveling at these brilliant kaleidoscopic images of pink with her voice during interviews being over-dubbed into german by a dude no less. aside from the coolness of the surreal factor, the experience has imbued her with an almost religious status in my psyche.

I know a film is good when I want to view it more than once.

La Turbulance des Fluides (Chaos and Desire) watched it again. Incredible. Set in Baie Comeau on the St. Laurent, the tide stops in corelation to bizzare phenomena. Tragic and beautiful. Check it out.

hey thanks for yer comment....we kinda get a lot of snow here so stuff does just tend to continue, and become more bothersome because work will be slow and i will get cold and cranky, and i will wish things DIDN'T continue when it snowed cuz i would just stay home with the woodstove....mebbe it's that you westerners have the right idea....it makes sense to slow down with the snow

and, yes the knee is on the up and up, although not fully clicked in yet. i confess it is hard for me to back off entirely, but i am learning my lesson in slowing down.

it seems you're into yoga too-what kind? oh, and growing food....lordy we seem to have much in common..
soldatka:

Home now from a morning downtown, catching up with a long time friend, learning of her pregnancy. So, exciting! It used to be when friends told me of being preg I'd say "wow that's so exciting!" but be thinking to myself "What the fuck?" I guess in my mind 27 is the beginning of being old enough for the severe lifestyle change (not for me...

sunny sunny day. planted garlic in rich earth this afternoon.

it's amazing that each clove knows exactly what to do once stuffed, no longer wondering am I food or do I reproduce? We didn't cover them with compost yet cuz our tractor guy was away so, we'll take a wild risk and let their pointy tips watch the eclipse tonight before tucking them in for...

So, after having cut (and stolen) from all over this province The 'Province of British Columbia' gov't is announcing with jubilation that they predict a BILLION dollar Surplus! (Largely ripped from Ministry Children and Families)

Right now the Province is asking for direction from the public about where to reinvest.

This gov't has enhanced the loss of supports to those least likely to join the...

So, time for an update... where to begin I'll go back to Tuesday.

A smooth morning of coordinating and packing the collective food buying program I work with. Definately one of the best values yet with each person getting about 30 pounds of choice fruit and veggies for their 10$ contribution.

Took off at lunch headed to the ferry for Vancouver. Picked up by best...
