My version of gardening:
I strip all the ugly rectilinear sod from the ground leaving bare earth. I plant clover seeds, forget-me-nots (both kinds). Weeds soon sprout, but I watch to see which ones grow too high or spread their roots and leaves too greedily, and I pull those up. Everything is constantly changing as plants go through their lifecycles and new seeds get blown in. Neighbours shake their heads and stop offering advice.
I have to do everything backwards and roundabout. It's my curse -- straight lines never work for me.
