If I update properly now it will just be a sign of procrastination *sigh*

Taking classes at U now, plus working full time. Not that there aren't plenty of people doing that and more (e.g. being parents too) but I've got some balancing to learn.

Meantime, I have to say, go see The Mirror Mask!

And this kind of sums up everything for me blush

hullo dear. I say you're probably not updating because you have stuff going on in your life. Taking classes AND working fulltime sounds like a full plate.

Happy new year.

The way a bird's tail feathers fan out against the brick as it clings to a void in the wall

small things.

Edited to add:
When the days start to seem all the same, a detail like that catches my attention and wakes me up to what's all about me. I could almost hate the big, glamourous things of the world, or myself for...

My version of gardening:
I strip all the ugly rectilinear sod from the ground leaving bare earth. I plant clover seeds, forget-me-nots (both kinds). Weeds soon sprout, but I watch to see which ones grow too high or spread their roots and leaves too greedily, and I pull those up. Everything is constantly changing as plants go through their lifecycles and new seeds get blown...

the fog was incredible, felt like I was walking in clouds (which I was!). It added atmosphere to everything. Something about a pretentious teenager, clad in black, wandering about in the fog. *laugh*

A seacave, eh? Are you a pirate at heart? robot kiss

Well, most of you non-synaesthetes managed quite well, so I think its just as fair really. tongue

Kristin Hersh's lyrics tickle a certain side of me. Today it makes me want to dress in my un-finest and go wandering down near the lake and the abandoned factories with my ex. She'd be game but we're too old to be guttersnipes.

No, I cannot stop dreaming.

There is a well haunted by the ghosts of three children. Two of the ghosts are terrifying and evil but the third is sad and shy and innocent. I determine that if I give this nicer ghost-child the three "best toys ever" then she will feel so loved that she will be strong enough to overpower her sisters and stop...

My dream said that in ancient times men fought gods, not other men, and so the land and the villages were spared. The gods meant no ill, they were just fulfilling their function. A goddess came to speak to me and berated me for letting Stonehenge fall into disrepair frown She said that I should not have let even a single grain of sand fall from...

oh dear, maybe you were a druid in a past life or something. in fact i wouldnt be surprised. i like your drawings, very line oriented. i am especially fond of the one with color. i hope that aside form the wierd dream you are doing well. rebuilding your computer sounds like quite the task.

There are a lot of cultures that believe that the battlefields of legend were in the heavens (or respective planes of existence that the gods reside) and you must have been dreaming about one of them. You've inspired me to go back and re-read Beowulf.

I believe in something even though I'm not religious. If I didn't think there were a purpose to our lives I wouldn't be able to go on living. Sometimes I have lost that feeling and no, I couldn't go on. I always manage to get out of that trap, like escaping from nightmares, but it's worse each time.

I don't think the meaning and purpose...
