Two of my best friends dressed as Kurt and Courtney for Halloween. Funniest shit ever. THe drunker my friend got, the more she looked like COurtney. She got this shit wig from a drug store and wore a slip from a thrift store with a pair of hideous old boots, fucked up red lipstick and black liquid eyeliner that she splashed water on to make it run all over her face. It was fucking priceless.

I have to admit, I did like the first album Hole put out but if you compare that to the others, its apparent that Kurt was writing the lyrics if not the entire song. Now I just feel sorry for her, she's like Nancy Spungen but she didn't die.

My "normal" friends don't get SG either. I actually heard through the grapevine that I was "running a porn site" the other day. Hahaha ... the telephone game is so much fun. But that guy does sound a little, ummm, insecure.

Well, yesterday.....went for cooffee around 8am, found a soaking wet $40 on the street Sweet and thank you !. At cafe, getting coffee met neighbor, heard about casting call for cooking show, remember me telling you about Hells Kitchen, yeah, they will be casting spitting distance from my house......what did that gypsey say again ;-)

Went to work, till 2, easy short shit, went to shops, ran in and out as fast as I could, shopping is death !, went to lake, ran, sat at lake, walked to park, visited mom, came home, tidied, fixed things up, relaxed, watched movie, went to sleep, slept until 12 o clock today !!!

WHOOOOOOO!!!!

I needed it !! Seriously, I have been running on 3-5 hours a night for a month now and feel like a new person !!

I just don't see much progress happening where education is concerned. It's very depressing that not only are the federal and state governments short-changing the school systems, but that a return to biblical teachings seems to be the issue that is getting so much attention. Can this country not be embarrassed in the eyes of other countries when it's basically involved in a Scopes Monkey Trial situation in 2006? It just seems like when there are real problems to be addressed, this country is still mired in faith-based battles, and as Pastura said, has the nerve to call itself a beacon of progress and ethics.

anax.. I have never read a journal entry that I have most identified with. I always say that I live with no regrets but I do have one. I have bailed on many an oppourtunity to have great photos done of me. When I ws a bit younger before my 3 kids, I was in my twenties and thin and getting pretty heavily tattooed. I started going to conventions and got a photg from my fave tattoo mag ask to see me for a photo set for the mag. I was so nervous in the waiting area that I bailed. I was in a lot of fashion and or hair shows then too (as the one edgy one haha) and got approached alot from photogs wanting to take my pictures and each and every time i managed to slip away at the last minute. I now wish that I hadn't bailed like that. I will never look that way again, so thin and fresh. (3 kids in 3 years makes one tired lookin!)
I never saw it as an intimacy thing before I read this. I always though that I may see somthting ugly in the photos and it would blow any self image I had..I dunno why it happened but now I am curious....

quinne's wishlist is pretty fucking stocked. then again, she doesn't have, you know, kids. it's fun to look at yours. i feel like an arse b/c i egged you on to do one and now i realize your birthday is 2 days away and i haven't shopped for you!! perhaps a birthday poem instead (lame, but i'll bat my eyelashes and hopefully it'll all be ok).

i'm gonna try to add one soon, if i don't still have that computer glitch. if only to tell the sg world, this is the shit that i want. it's pretty telling, i think, in a good way.
