Hi everyone. Ok so, everyone knows (from my profile) that my 21st birthday is almost two months away. I didn't even realize it was so close, and had no plans, until the other day, we were looking for a concert/comedy show to go too soon and lo and behold! Demetri Martin, is going to be in Boulder in November, on November 16th my 21st birthday! Yes! I've been wanting to go see more stand up comics lately instead of concerts just cause it's more social, more relaxed and just as fun. So this ends up being perfect. Demetri Martin is like.. a young Mitch (although toned down some) who also plays guitar and is sings like Stephan Lynch (although toned down also) and he has a spot on The Daily Show every once in a while. Anyway, he's funny and me and Jon and two other people for sure with a bunch more I haven't asked yet are going and I'm psyched. After the show we'll come back to Fort Collins and go to a bar (haven't decided which yet) and everyone over 21 and too cheep to buy 30 dollar tickets are gunna come meet us there. Yay! you should go see comedian josh blue instead....laughter is great for the soul and wont hurt your ears...LOL. he's from denver, if you havent seen him before. won last comic standing on tv a few weeks back. very funny guy.

i saw demetri on comedy central. i loved him. i really loved when he brought the huge pad out and did jokes to the drawings on it. like the i can't believe it's not butter thing and all the other things with the doodad and the BWOOP.
