all is well thanks for asking. how are you?

Thanks for the comment. As there is no beach in NOLA, I'd have to say her next-door neighbors - the MS and AL coasts - best kept secrets!

It was nice to drive the back roads Christmas Eve... everything was covered. It was truly lovely... and you are correct. There are still big piles in parking lots.

Weather channel says no white Christmas here, but I guess the lake effect club will have enough for everybody. We get high winds and rain tonight and tomorrow. I put everything I could in the barn and tied up everything else so I don't have to chase it around tomorrow. We have a feral black pot belly pig running around our neighborhood. He must have...

This slushy mess makes running no fun at all. The pink sands of Bermuda sure would be better between my toes than wet socks. Don't think I'll get there this winter unless the stock market is kinder. Our 16 YO gets to go to Paris and Rome this spring with his school class, I get to stay home and pay for it. Really would like...

Seems like the Winter depression isn't as bad for me as usual, I think I've been getting out in the sunlight allot more than past years. Nothing more dragging to me than getting up before light and getting home after dark everyday. Even tho I've been researching stock 12 or 15 hours a day, I try to get outside and breath some real air and...

The winter sadness is difficult. The best way to get through it is to recognize it and know to attribute it to the climate, where it rightfully belongs, and not to life suddenly becoming joyless.

It was 10 degrees here today, and I, of my own free will, decided to walk to the shop for some little, inconsequential things. The wind and snow are brutal, but a part of me likes thinking that I can survive (mostly) comfortably where others cannot (or would not even try). Minnesota doesn't really have "fair weather friends".

First snow of the Winter, only 2 inches but enough to keep the Mustang's enthusiasm at home. Tennessee does not cope with snow well, best to just stay home when it happens. Snow plows do not exist here and it never seems to freeze and snow at the same time so we get a quick melt. Went to a 1598 madrigal last night, Chamber music...

Quiet peaceful day today, glad I'm not driving anywhere this year. There seems to be more crazies on the road than ever before. I blame it to some extent on the cell phone, tho I'm as guilty as any on auto multitasking. I only talk on the phone if someone calls, but have been known to text, not good I know, I just get bored...

Can I learn this trick from you, this scaring off of other drivers? No one in this city can drive, and what little they do know of driving they forget the minute there's the slightest bit of precipitation. I damn near got killed yesterday. mad

Thanks for checking out the Zivity set; I'm very glad you like it, votes or no votes! Zivity is providing more of an artistic outlet, it seems, with the little money I get from it better than the big fat nothing I'm currently earning here. It's quite possible that most of my work will end up there from now on.

Thanks for your comment my set smile kisskiss

Just noticed lately, that for an open minded open forum site that SG is to be, there are getting to be a lot of elitist "you can't come in" groups assembling.confused
