Compatibility is not something you have. It's something you make. It's a process, one that you negotiate as you go along.// Compatibility is overrated. The similarities or personality traits that attract people to each other may not hold up over time. When people are divorcing, they'll say "We have nothing in common"... yet they have kids, a house and 30 years of shared experience// Personality is important, but no one really knows how to match personalities up// We have expectations in a relationship and we tend to make them come true (self-fulfilling prophecies)

And the above is just an example of the irksome quality of magazines today - advertise the discovery of something great but then have nothing except for a slipshod article with stale info to back it up. For instance, PT makes a bold claim in the article title THE TRUTH ABOUT COMPATIBILITY, but none of the tidbits of info they dispense are groundbreaking or even interesting.
My sweetums and I took Spook to the vet yesterday to have his nails trimmed, and the vet informed us that Spook has an umbilical hernia and it should be removed (he also suggested having his dewclaws permanently removed). Willy also has the same bump on his belly, and another vet we spoke to says it is nothing. I need to get a third opinion from a vet to see whether the bump/hernia is something to worry about. I'm already worried about it now though. Spook is 10.8 ounces (weighed yesterday at the vet office) and he's just a fluffy ball of love - he's too young, vital and healthy for scary bumps.
There are about 50-something more days til the election. THANK YOU. I'm so tired of the poltical mudslinging. Hey, I can admit it was a fun diversion at first, but complete immersion makes things old. "RISE TO VOTE, SIR" is a palindrome. I like palindromes a lot. "Never odd or even" & "was it a cat i saw?" & "a santa at nasa"
I watched the new movie Paparazzi with my boy the other day and it was really good. I recommend you go to the theatre and watch it. It was an inspiring feel-good revenge story.
The worst subsection of society is:
THE scum-sucking lecherous group of fools known as SPAMMERS. They all should DIE. DIE. DIEEEEEE. I treasure my digital mailbox as something personal and sacred, just as I treasure my real life mailbox. When SPAMMERS consistently defame and rape my email, I am enraged.
Wasn't it supposed to rain here in South Cal on Sunday and Monday? Where'd it go? Bah. Would Hurricane Frances or Charlie (or whatever the hell their names are) fancy a visit to the west coast? (is this an insensitive comment? no offense to those hit by floridian hurricanes) We simply need the rain here, and a hiatus from the heat.
