the long lost miss acheron has returned, sort of. on sebatical in the los angeles area. hope to hang out, see the goddamned ocean and not think about thomas aquinas for 2 seconds.
because my roommates apparently suck at dealing with organizational things, my internet's been down for about a month. thus i have been invisible here. hopefully it'll be up again sometime in the next week, but i've not got my hopes up. mews. in case you were curious, the goings [but oh so few comings] of miss acheron that have transpired:
-got into a big controversy at my writing job
-was chased down by an evil swiss professor who i hope dies, like, SOON.
-went to social d and actually sat in a chair at a concert...that made no sense at all. thanks, warfield.
-actually got a thank you note from a band i reviewed.
-despite a few exceptions i have realized the universe is hell bent on convincing me i'm surrounded by incompetent men. you owe me, bastaaaards.
-saw outthere last night, hadn't seen him in forever because of his job.
-spent way too much time writing/re-writing an essay on ionesco
-possibly brusied my hand writing my theology midterm
-i made a mess and it turned into a pizza! mmmm.
-thoroughly enjoyed sleepytime gorrilla museum
-conquered minolta! er, that means i figured out how to sorta work the digital camera i have for work...
as you can see, not much has been going on, but for some reason, i'm exhausted. of course, the #1 cool thing that's happened is:
i heard from my brother!!!!!!!! holyshitttt! i'm gonna meet my nieces! *bounces off walls*
